In addition to runnig his own successful consultancy, Teleq Consulting, Philip Carse leads the newly formed Telecoms practice for I S Research.
Philip has 20 years experience in telecoms, including 6 years as an equity analyst with UBS, Commerzbank and Citigroup, and 7 years as a management consultant with PA Consulting Group and NERA.
As an analyst, Philip covered a wide variety of European operators, including mobile, incumbents, cable and altnets, and was responsible for global telecoms research in his last year at Citigroup. The UBS team was ranked 1st in UK telecoms, whilst the Citigroup team was regularly in the Top 5.
Philip has worked as an independent telecoms analyst and consultant since 2003, advising banks, operators, investors and regulators, and publishes a regular blog on UK telecom operators. He has BSc and MSc degrees in economics from The University of Southampton and Birkbeck College, University of London, respectively.
