About IS Research
In setting up I S research, we aimed simply to produce the best research we could on the UK technology sector safe in the knowledge that the clients would follow.
Why ISR
From day one, our sole aim at IS Research has been to provide the highest quality research we could. We did this safe in the knowledge that there was a clear need for this kind of independent research and that the clients would follow.
Award winning research
Our research has been recognised as some of the best in the market.
ISR’s founder and lead analyst, Ian Spence has been voted TechMARK analyst of the year twice. The most recent award was in 2008 making Ian the only independent analyst to win the awards; all other past winners remain in the broking sector.
Sector specialisation
Our analysts spend essentially all of their time monitoring the performance of companies in the technology sector.
This level of sector specialisation enables us to deliver the highest possible quality research whether that research is published within our Equity Research or Market Intelligence offering or whether it forms the basis of a consulting project.
Independence
We make no excuse about repeatedly coming back to this issue. Independent thinking is ingrained into the culture of the company and we publish our views in a company without fear or favour.
Our independence is reinforced by the fact that we do not trade in shares, we do not own shares in any of the companies about which we write nor do we generate any of our revenue from contingent corporate finance fees.
Value for money
The structure of our company enables us to deliver exceptional value for money to our clients.
We can do this for two reasons. First, we have invested heavily in technology which facilitates a high degree of automation and negates the need for personnel overhead and secondly, because the company is run by those that write the research, we have minimised the corporate overhead.
