Anyone who has been involved in small cap investor relations will tell you that producing high quality research and getting it to the right investors is only half the battle.
In small cap, more often than not, investors make a decision to invest based on a meeting with the company’s management.
So, working within the framework of existing advisers, we aim to facilitate this process in two key ways. First, we make sure that all relevant people at our clients’ house broker and other advisers receive our research so that they can track our views on the company. Also, in many cases, we maintain a dialogue with the house broker so as to optimise the timing of research.
Secondly, in conjunction with our partners Broker Profile we offer direct access to wealth managers and private client brokers, many of whom are not well served institutional brokers. In addition, we provide a range of investor relations consulting services to help to maximise the effectiveness of scarce management time devoted to investor relations.
